How Project Based Learning works

Big Question

Student are given a real-life question that is meaningful to them Ex: "how can we reduce waste in our school"

Student investigate the topic through; observation, discussion, play- they are encourage to wonder

Learn

Teacher introduce key knowledge and skill ( math, english, science, ICT, national curriculum) all taught in connected way

Try

Student Apply what they have learn ( practice, experiment, test ideas, improve)

Use their knowledge to make something meaningful (poster, model, presentation, etc)--young creators
